Nearly twenty years after leaving Elmira College, the Class of 2008 has carried forward a deep love for our time-honored traditions and a shared pride in being, by reputation and by spirit, a truly memorable class.

Since graduation, we’ve built full, complicated, meaningful lives. We've built careers, families, communities, and identities we couldn’t have imagined when we crossed the portico.

This site is both a collective reflection and a living archive: a place to share our stories, revisit what connected us then, and create a bridge for current students looking to learn from the paths we’ve taken.

Let us always honor where we started, celebrate who we became, and invest in who comes next.

Be It Ever So.

The Memorable Class of '08

If you crossed the portico with us in 2008, welcome home.

Start by logging in and becoming a member. From there, I invite you to add to our Class Stories are a living archive and a collective reflection of who we were, who we became, and how life unfolded in between. It is recollection's magic sway that honors the full picture: the unexpected turns, the growth, the pauses, the reinventions, and all that connects us back to Elmira.

From there, you can add to All of Our Stories by adding pictures and stories by stage of EC and life since. I cannot wait to remember and cringe with you.

You can participate in one or both spaces. Share what feels meaningful, revisit what still matters, and engage at your own pace. This site is shaped by by the people who made the Class of 2008 memorable in the first place.

To Our Community

For those who are current students, alum from another class year, or someone simply interested in the lives that grow out of an Elmira education, you are welcome here.

We invite you to explore the Class Stories and to spend time with the reflections shared by members of the Class of 2008. These narratives are offered freely, not as polished résumés, but as honest markers of where we’ve been and glimpses of what’s possible.

Read, reflect, reach out, and return as often as you like. Whether through stories or conversation, we hope this site serves as a bridge that links past to present, and extending Elmira’s tradition of connection into what comes next.
