The Memorable Class User Guide

Welcome! This site was built so we can tell our stories, remember each other, stay connected, and share our best memories.

Below is everything you need to know to use the site.

1. Create an Account / Become a Site Member

(Exclusive to the Class of ’08)

To submit stories, upload photos, comment on memories, or create a networking profile, you’ll need to create an account.

How to join:

  • Click Sign Up or Create Account anywhere on the site

  • Enter:

    • Your name

    • Your email address

    • A password you’ll actually remember

    • Once approved, you’re officially a site member.

What being a site member allows you to do:

  • Submit and edit your own stories

  • Upload photos to the appropriate year

  • Comment on memory posts

  • Create and update your alumni networking profile

Note: The ability to upload or share content is limited to the Class of 2008 to keep it personal, safe, and familiar. All other clumni or current students may view and navigate to get to know us.

2. Use the “All of Our Memories” Blog

(Sharing stories together, year by year)

Under All of Our Memories, you’ll find blog-style posts organized by year or era. Think of these as memory anchors to share stories and pictures of our time together.

How to use these posts:

  • Click into a blog article (for example: Freshman Year or Senior Year)

  • Scroll down to the comments section

  • Share:

    • A memory

    • A name you haven’t thought about in years

    • A “do you remember when…” moment

    • A reaction to someone else’s comment

Share and engage as much or as little as you'd like.  This is meant to feel like: “Oh wow, I forgot about that ... do you remember when?”

Editing or adding later:

  • You can add multiple comments over time

  • You can edit or delete your own comments

  • Jump in wherever memory hits

3. Submit Your Stories

This is where we share a bit more about who we were and who we are now.

How to submit a story:

  • Navigate to the Submit Your Story page

  • Fill out the story form, which may include:

    • A title

    • The story itself

    • An era or year (if applicable)

  • Click Submit

Your story will appear on the site once saved or approved.

Editing your story later:

  • Go to Class of 2008 Page

  • Click Edit My Class Story

  • Make changes and save

You can always come back to add or edit - let us iterate as we evolve.

4. Submit Your Photos (By Year)

Photos are organized by era or year.

How to submit a photo:

  • Go to the Submit a Photo page

  • Upload your image

  • Select the year or era the photo belongs to

  • Add a caption and name classmates if you’d like

  • Submit

If something ends up in the wrong year, do not worry. It’s totally fixable.

5. Fill Out Your Alumni Networking Profile

This section helps us reconnect with each other, fellow alumni, and current students.

How to create or update your profile:

  • Navigate to Alumni Networking or My Profile

  • Share as much or as little as you’d like:

    • What you’re doing now

    • Where you’re based

    • Areas of interest

    • Whether you’re open to connecting

  • Save your profile

A Few Reassurances

  • You can edit anything you submit

  • You can’t accidentally edit anyone else’s content

  • You won’t break the site

  • Nothing needs to be perfect

  • If you think, “Should I share this?”, please know the answer is yes.

  • If you get lost or need help, email Brittany Morin-Mezzadri (britthyphen@gmail.com).

Final Thought

Since time demands we continue to age, it becomes more evident that our memory doesn’t arrive on demand. Instead, shows up in fragments, in echoes, under recollection’s magic sway. Friends, we are the Memorable Class and this honorific requires us to participate in the act of remembering.

By sharing here, we honor:

  • our past selves: the awkward students learning, trying, stumbling, growing into adults.

  • the alumni and founders who had confidence in a rare ideal and built something worth holding onto.

  • our future selves who will return to these stories and find meaning in what we chose to preserve.

Thank you, dear classmates, for making us memorable.
